DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a prohibition memorial with the North Penn Elks Lodge!\nWe're commemorating the reopening of a lodge from yesteryears. During prohibition\, Elks Lodges were forbidden from serving alcohol.\nSometimes a lodge could serve near beer so long as it held less than 1% alchol. One lodge had some in reserve for a private dinner\, the near beer was confiscated and found to have 3% alcohol. As punishment\, the lodge was shuttered for 6 months by the Grand Exalted Ruler.\n\nTo celebrate the 100th Anniversary
